Poetry - Hit or Miss

Some might say, “Fate
is Sealed with a Kiss,”
What comes after Contact
Determines the “Hit or Miss.”

Rarely seen as a sign
of Disrespect. Rather,
it’s Difficult to Express
the Feelings we Resist.

Whether someone’s Kiss
is one of Life or Death,
Remember your Intentions and
Actions breed Consequence.

Definitive turning point
from person to person;
an undeniable Truth that
Reveals us being Human.

It Begins and Ends with this:
A Pair of pursed Lovers Lips.
They’ve got it and you want it-
So is it Worth being Dismissed?

Be mindful about who to share your affections with, because they may not desire anything after all is said and done. Whether it’s a Kiss of Life or a Kiss of Death, the action may be irreversible. It might be an awakening, or trigger others to run. May your feelings be mutual and received in good fashion. May you be reminded of this before you make your next move.
